Description
The bug takes place with some browsers on some machines. I'll investigate and decrease javascript time consumption.
- Priority changed from High to Normal
We decided to address this problem later. However, speed improvements are always welcome!
- Status changed from New to Open
- Priority changed from Normal to High
The example is QA night tests. Javascript on its page is really too slow.
Possible workaround (indeed it may be helpful in any case) is to update browser since the newer versions may increase javascript processing up to a few times.
- Priority changed from High to Normal
Not slow enough to bother anyway. (As of planning 11)
I find out that "Print large text bubble plugin" is responsible for the given problem. It works just on pages where are descriptions are presented (like Unknowns, Problems and so on). I'm going to eliminate this bottleneck.
- Status changed from Open to Resolved
Available in 4e5286f of gsoc-stats-server.
At the moment description bubbles arise just in case on clicking corresponding description instead of generation of all of them at the page loading. To hide bubble you can click on it. Also there is no more '...' at the beginning of large descriptions.
