Description

В свойствах проекта на вкладке Requality -> Version Control снимаем галочку "Enable versioning". Нажимаем Apply (это можно не делать), нажимаем ОК.

Снова открываем свойства проекта. Галочка "Enable versioning" снова стоит.

Галочка теперь исчезает. Но результат от этого не меняется. Даже при отключенном version contol при изменении узла номер версии получает дополнительную звездочку.
