It turned out to be a bad design since field status has straightforward correlations just with such value of field verdict of unsafe marks as bug. For other verdicts and for safes and unknowns semantics is not obvious or absent at all. So, I suggest to hide status and to disallow to set if for everything except unsafe -> bug.
BTW, Pavel reported this issue in the specification ~3 years ago but nobody cared.
