At the moment there is a very simple comparison, namely, strict matching. But indeed users would like to provide a map between attribute names and attribute types and have an ability for more advanced comparison of attribute values for corresponding types. For instance, if an attribute type is a version or a number there should be "<", ">", "=", "<=", ">=" operators with corresponding semantics. For strings - "starts with", "contains", "=". And so on.
