ldv-upload-2 may fail with an error:

MySQL server has gone away at /home/mutilin/opt/ldv/bin/ldv-upload-2 line 745.
ldv-upload: NORMAL: Disconnecting from data base.

The cause of the error was too low configuration parameter of mysql server:

max_allowed_packet      = 10M

The error report for such cases should be improved.
