Description

I revealed with help of Ilya Shchepetkov, that the latest CIF contains a new check that results in very unclear failures in the development mode when one collects code coverage for models. It is very unpleasant and should be fixed ASAP.

Tests passed, so I merged the branch to master in b2f4461. Besides, I backported this important bug fix into branch v3.6-stable.
